Frequently Asked Questions
Is there really a $0 listing fee on all plans?▾
Yes, always. You never pay to Create a Listing on EGO Arms. Off-platform payments (Zelle, Cash App, PayPal F&F) are always free. A GunTab service fee (8%, 5%, or 3% depending on plan) applies only when you use GunTab as your payment method. If your item doesn't sell, you owe nothing.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?▾
Yes. You can upgrade immediately — the new rate and active listing limit take effect right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Any active listings over the new limit will continue running but you won't be able to add new ones until you're under the cap.
How is the commission calculated?▾
The GunTab service fee applies only when you use GunTab as your payment method, and is a percentage of the final hammer price (or Buy Now price). Off-platform payments carry no EGO Arms fee. There is no buyer's premium — the buyer pays exactly what they bid. Example on a $1,000 GunTab sale: Basic keeps $920, Pro keeps $950, Dealer keeps $970.
What is the Dealer plan's FFL requirement?▾
Dealer plan applicants must provide their FFL license number during onboarding. We verify it against the ATF FFL database. Private individuals cannot enroll in the Dealer plan. Pro plan is available to verified private sellers who meet volume thresholds.
When and how do I get paid?▾
Payment on EGO Arms is arranged directly between buyer and seller — we do not hold or transfer funds on your behalf. Once the buyer confirms receipt of the firearm through their FFL, the transaction is marked complete. Your payout is whatever the buyer has already sent you via your agreed payment method.
What are "Featured listing slots"?▾
Featured slots place your listings in the "Featured Auctions" section on the homepage and at the top of relevant category pages. They refresh monthly — unused slots do not roll over. You can assign a featured slot to any active listing from your seller dashboard.
